Fleece Baby Blanket

Somehow, I just can't get enough aqua and fleece. I love the serged edges and the decorative stitch. This is a blanket I made for my quilt group. They'll either sell it at one of their fund raisers or give it to a worthy person.
I've learned a lot of things about fleece and it has been through a lot of trial and error. It stretches easily so when I serge the edges, I have to be careful not to hold it at all and just guide it and let it run through the serger which is actually how it should be done anyway. That same thing applies to the decorative stitch. And I've learned to stop the machine at the end of a line of stitching and reset it so that when I set out on the next side, it looks better.  I still have a lot to learn but I'm stitchin along ok for now.

The little bear designs are from Embroiderquilt. See the link in my favorite places.
