Chiffon scarf with decorative stitch

I haven't done much sewing on lightweight fabrics so I decided to give it a try. I purchased some chiffon from a shop on Etsy at a super price and did some serging and decorative stitching.
The serging was easier than I thought it would be as my first experience with the serger and sheer fabrics wasn't all that great.
On the first scarf, I used waxed paper under the stitches and on the second one I used water soluble stabilizer.
These are the results:

Thank you. I think I'll experiment with a few more colors and some light embroidery.
