May Flowers?
We've had plenty of rain, and it looks like we might see some May flowers soon. I saw tulips yesterday ready to bloom. I'm worried about my irises; they are bigger by this time. Hopefully they are just late and will still come up.
The irises just need a little warmth I think. Lots of things are very late, like the dogwoods here and some of the flowering trees. I love the irises too.
There are a couple more shoots coming up so there is hope. We had one night that went down to -27 this winter so I'm sure it's going to take extra time this year.
