Historic Cheboygan

This is the Jacob J. Post House in Cheboygan which was built in 1886. This is an old section of town where many of the historic homes still stand in elegance.

I think most of these houses were built during the lumberjack era. They are just incredible to see. Some are run down, but many of them have been restored and that is really a great gift to the city and the people.
